So I bought this thing in Janyary of 07. An irrational buy, by all means. Did't know much of jack abut snakes and didn't lie looking @/ouching pinkies.. Tis was te 1st day I got her
Poor Pet store husbantry had her going thru a really tuff shed. But she was so little, I could ball her up in my hand and only her little head would poke out between my fingers.
Her food was so teeny tiny
The first one I ever fed her exploded on her face, it looked like she had yogurt on her lips
Though she was cool, but I didn't really love her yet. One night on the way home fro a roadtrip[p the temp in the back of my car (unbenounced to me) dropped to like 40 degreez on a 3.5 hour road trip. I got her in the house and she was frozen solid inside her papertoel role hid. I tried shaking and llightly banging but she did not move.
I callled my gf and said "I think I killed her". Big lump in my throat and stomach in knots... This is when I knew I loved her. I bew and blew and blew into that paper towel role and got nothing in return but a cold stare. At that point and time I paniced. I killed this snake....and suddenly.... The two most beautiful flicks of the tounge anyone has ever laid eyes upon. Got her outta there warmed her up under my shirt and the rest is history.
Then she got bigger and started getting prettier
Even fed hera little tiny mouse live (Will never again/ Have never done it since)
She needs a job
I know she has some kinda
het, which one is a mystery
Her old tank had 2.5" pcv pipes as hides...Just had to upgrade to 3.5.. and a waaay bigger log. She was actually still getting under that one, but it was sitting on her body and a whole inch off of the subtrate....lol

Now she is waaaay bigger. Abou 3 feet long and as wide as a braugtswurst, lol. She eats a small rat every 2 weeks. I am Uber anal about her temps and humidity. She eats well, shed like a champ and is rediculously lovable. The knowledge and respect I have gained for these animals as inmesurable.

Oh and she loves hanging with mommy
Just giving you an idea of a year in boadome.. Can't wait for year #2
