Re: BCC or BCI?
$140 is a normal pet store price around me anyway for a bci. You can get them at reptile shows from $50-$100
Here is a pic of my bcc
Bcc's are the true "red tails" and command higher prices usually between $200-$350 for babies and prices go up to around $400-$900 for adults

Re: BCC or BCI?
From what I can see (first pic a little blurry) looks like a BCI but a very beautiful one with some sharp contrast in colors. The reds do tend to fade into more brown coloring on the BCI's as they get older, but still some have nicer coloring than others. I'd say yours is very beautiful. I would not be disappointed at all for the price you paid.

Re: BCC or BCI?
That's a good looking snake you have there. I'd say the only way you got ripped off is if you feel like your pet wasn't worth the money you paid for it. Don't worry about whether its BCI, BCC, ABC or DEFG. They're just letters. If you and your son love the snake you have, you didn't get ripped off.
