Just some questions
I got a boa, Arameada, from my brother due to him pcs'ing and he didnt want to drag her through all that. I've had several pythons in the past but this is my first boa. I've had her for a few months now and have been trying to find someone around my area that knew anything about them, and no luck. She was eating 2 large rats a week when I got her, and I thought that was wrong, so I moved her up to jumbos and she didnt have any issues with them at all. After a few weeks of that she was still acting very hungry after her feedings. After searching high and low I finally found a store that will sell feeder rabbits. The first feeding took almost 2 hours......does that seem right...... She's almost 6ft in length, and only like 6in around midway down. I'm not sure if that is a good sign or not, but in my opinion she is skinny for her length. She was never handled alot by my brother, I get her out every other day, she seems very well tempered, my 2 year old can even handle her...with a little help.
I guess what I'm trying to figure out is if I'm feeding her right? And if her size is healthy? 1 other note....right now she is in a tank thats about 6ft long, 1ft deep, 3ft tall....she likes to hang from her tree......Do i need to start looking for a new tank?
Thanks in advance for all your help
