It was sooo cute the way she came slithering out of her hide box when she smelled the rat warming (see pic 1). She had that little s-shape going on, and you could tell she was looking for dinner. Then when I dangled the rat, she hesitated. She had never seen prey that big before and wasn't sure what it was! Then she nailed it pretty good!

Awww a proud day for sure! My Molotov is about Veronica's size and switched over to larges recently, as well. I wanted to cheer her on when she finally decided that it was still, indeed, food, but I didn't want to startle her either. I'm pretty sure a good deal of miming went on while she ate, though!  |
