larry is in good hands now!
well to all who care. today i took larry back to the store and they said they would take care of him (they aren't very happy with the supplier!) but they gave me a new healthy boa. his name is thunderclese. (i don't really know if its boy or girl. but if its a girl the appropriate name change will be made) i've only had it a few hours and i'm attatched to it. its alot healthier and i can take better care of it me being a newbie to boas and everything. i still wish the best for larry and eventhough i only had him for a week i miss him already even if he had special needs . on the other hand my creamsicle corn snake just shed and hes getting to be a pretty big guy. i've moved him up to rat pinkys!. oh, and if anybody really reads this. thunderclese is just a baby maybe about 19 inches. do you think he would beable to handle a rat pinky or should i feed him mice for a while?

How are they "taking care" of that other snake? Can you follow up with this? I wouldn't trust them. Poor little thing.

Re: larry is in good hands now!
should be able to take a rat pink pretty easily. You can feed items 150% the size of the boas thickest point. You should see a lump in the boa after feeding

Re: larry is in good hands now!
a minute old boa is almost always big enough to eat a rat pink, In my opinion a boa should never touch mice, some people think different, but we all have opinions, i think you did the right thing with Larry, i hope he gets better

i gave them all the meds that he needs and they seemed pretty concerned. they told me the weren't to happy with the dealer. and before i left(because i forgot. what a jerk i am!) she asked me when his next shot was due. so i thinky they will take care of him. i feel like a jerk because i was blaming them when it was really the dealers fault. i got larry the day he came in

I am glad they made it right with you though, that is really good. Congrats on the new healthy baby!
And yes, rat pinkies should be fine. Start 'em out early!

Re: larry is in good hands now!
If you took Larry back to the store in which you bought him, I'd bet my money that they will not care for him that well. Sounds like you bought him in the condition that he was presently in, and I'd bet dollars to donuts that they will continue to provide the care that was given to him in the begining before you bought him.
