Pre-shed question

I was handleing my baby RTB the other day and noticed that his where fogged over like he was getting ready to shed. They even got so hazy I could barely see his eyes but a couple days later they are back crystal clear and no shed skin This is the first time seeing this. When ever my snakes eyes get hazy then they. What is going on here... that is just weird Can anyone tell me if this is normal or happened to them

same with my young red tail, after her eyes return to normal, like 3 days later she actually sheds, i was wondering the same as you when it happened to, but just wait...he will

same here. both my boas shed 3 days after eyes clear up

i don't think it is anything to worry about, you will get up one mornig and it will be there

Keep up your humidity. I would personally give him a good soak...just give it time and he will shed. Sometimes it just takes longer.

there is more than enough humidity...I always bump up the humidity when their eyes get hazy. Plus I do periodic misting

all snakes should do this. the milky fluid is secreted under their "old skin" and that is why they get darker and foggy-eyed. it then hardens and then their "new skin" is ready to come out and they shed the old.

I don't know about the technical stuff but I do know this is something that all snakes do.
