Help Whistling

I have a boa that I just got about 2 weeks ago and at first he would wheeze a little while breathing but only from time to time not constantly. I woke up a little bit ago and heard whistling and it was coming from him while he was breathing. I am thinking it might be RI which I am hoping not because I dont have the money for a trip to the vet right now.

I have raised the temps in the cage. Hot side is at 90 and cool side around 84. Humidity never falls below 60%. He is eating fine. He just ate yesterday.

Anyone have any ideas?

Re: Whistling

Yes, it sounds like an RI, and yes, you are doing the right things so far. Try to get the humidity down to around 50%, and monitor the situation for about a week. Then, if it doesn't improve, take it to a vet.

Re: Whistling

Ya, I was hoping it wasn't RI. Ok. Ill get the humidity down and let him be for for the week. If things dont improve I'll get him to a vet right away.
