RTB getting too warm (?)
I'm sure this has been covered many times before but I can't seem to find it. Should my rtb feel warm when I handle her?

that can depend on many things. her body temp, your body temp, the air temp, the circulation in your hand, etc.
if the temps are within the proper range in her cage according to the thermometer, then the snake is fine.
shouldn't feel HOT or cool or cold.

Re: RTB getting too warm (?)
if you have a temp gun (like a raytek or something) can use it to check surface temps and stuff...I use it on mine all the time just out of interest as they warm up and cool down on a regular basis. If the snake has been basking for a while then it will be warm when you pick it up.
Sorry i wasnt much help!

If she's been out basking than sure, she will feel warm. A temp gun as suggested is a very wise investment for you and your pet.

Re: RTB getting too warm (?)
i bought mine from
Automotive Tools and Auto Tools from Tool Discounter
i got the raytek MT6 for like 50 bucks...great prices on here
it is an automotive discounter...the MT4 (next model down) is like 36 bucks at the moment, way cheaper than anywhere else
i would highly recommend you buy from here, if you do a google product search, you will find they are about 20 bucks cheaper on all the models
