Darn boa.....Vet visit=$$$
My fault entirely. I left one of the latched on the Boaphile partially unlatched. Ruby(My 6'+ boa) got out and made her way across the room to the rat rack. She pushed one of the tubs out and helped herself to a few big momma racks in the "ready to pop" level of the rack. In the process she got a gash on her head and something managed to cause swelling in her bottom jaw.
Well 83$ worth of meds and time from the vet later, I learned a valuable lesson about rushing to get things done. I need to hire someone to protect me from myself!!!

saw this on the other forum you posted on first. Tough break man, and yeah what Jem said, slow down, take your time. Things happen and hopefully we learn from them. If you get bashed on the other place I wouldn't be surprised, so just don't even worry about it, I'm glad she's ok.

Ya, It was just a shock. The vet said that the way I was flushing it out would have probably been sufficient(50% peroxide/water 2 times a day) but I wanted to be safe.
