Re: My New Hypo
I have a real hard time naming my snakes. It'll just come to you eventually. That's what I think anyway.

Re: My New Hypo
Beautiful snake and as long as he is healthy, then all is well. But not a very impressive hypo. The quality of hypos has really been going down hill the last few years and we are seeing alot more "not very hypo hypos" on the market. But remember that it is not about what others think as long as you like the animal.

Re: My New Hypo
He seems healthy, he is very strong and almost took off my thumb with his little baby deathgrip - which made me beam with pride. I fed him today and he killed the little hopper in seconds... He seems very healthy. I have gotten most of my snakes from this store and they have all done very well.
I haven't actually finished paying him off yet, but I am making sure his cage is set up properly before I take him hoe (and I am a poor college student/snake-a-holic)

That has a nice pattern on it, but personally, I would not buy it as a hypo. It has WAY too much melanin for me to consider it Hypomelanistic. Of course, the one that I posted, I only consider average.

Nah, don't be sad. It all boils down to what you think (like BW said). and there's nothing wrong with him

Re: My New Hypo
If you want it and like it that is all that matters. I agree with BW I have seen alot of "hypos" lately that are dark and have really drab saddles with just a hint of red. But to each there own.

Re: My New Hypo
So how is he? there wasn't much light where I was taking the picture. I'll get some better ones in a few days.
In real life he looks like a shade darker version of your hypo. But man yours is a stunner. Can you show me your others, I love boa morphs so much...
Do you think he is pretty Brandon?

Re: My New Hypo
Thank you for the picks, I think they are all beautiful. The one that stole my heart was the albino... ohh dear, never shall get that back.
Thank you so much. If you look at my photos you can see the pastel boa I will breed him with when they are much older and full grown... What do you think of her?
I really appreciate your patience, he may not be high quality but he is so cute and his tail is really stunning... I need to get better pics.
