Reptiletubs???
All:
I have two male bci's. Are reptiletubs sutable enclosures for the rest of their lives??? I am primarily concerned about their comfort. Both of the boas love to climb. In other words I don't want them to become cramped when they grow to 6 or 7 footers.
Thanks

Re: Reptiletubs???
You would have to have a pretty huge tub for a full grown boa. Go for a nice custom cage about 6ft long.

Re: Reptiletubs???
The dimensions are:
VE 175 Dimensions: 20 7/8"W x 52 7/8"L x 14 1/16"H
I seems like they would have no room to move around in when the become adults.

Re: Reptiletubs???
If they love to climb build them a cage. You can see many designs in the cage section here and the how to section.

Re: Reptiletubs???
Thanks Guys:
You are right. I will build a cage. It does not make since to house them in anything less than the best. In fact, I have a bit of a start. I am using a closet and perminant selves. Hence I only have to build tops, bottoms and fronts. If I move, I will just patch and paint the drywall --- none will be the wiser.

Re: Reptiletubs???
Line the closet with pond liner. This will keep humidity in the cage and not soaking the dry wall.

Re: Reptiletubs???
Heres a almost 6ft boa in a ve175. I wont keep a fully grown boa in these. I really think that you can, but thats only if you hate your boa.
