This is neat, Silver eyes?
A handful of this 'phase' came out in last year's Isla de Maize (Corn island) itters. What beautifull luminous eyes?!
.

.

.

.
This phase is characterized by banded-look, a low saddle-count, a somewhat more-orange, less-red venter and are overall less speckled and more hypo-looking than most.
.
Thanks for looking. Have a great day!

Re: This is neat, Silver eyes?
That's really neat! Do you have enough experience with this phase to know if the eyes will stay that bright as the little guy matures?

Re: This is neat, Silver eyes?
If I didn't know better I'd say you photoshopped the eyes Gus, do all Corn Island's have eyes like that?

Re: This is neat, Silver eyes?
Very cool! Is this a common "phase"?

Re: This is neat, Silver eyes?
Sorry, I meant the color of the eyes, and slight differences between the "normals" lol

Re: This is neat, Silver eyes?
Here's a photo of that same snake, silver eyes and all, at age about 2 months.
.

.
Though that won't prove anything to the people who think most any photo of a beautiful or unusual boa has been faked or 'shopped'.
.
This next is a 'normal' sibling..
.

.
The eyes are similar though that image doesn't best display the eyes.. Do the eyes change? Everything changes to some extent.. and that's most of the fun. Here's mom, her eyes still look silver to me..
.

.
.. and dad's eyes are silver as well.
.

.
.. anyhow, it's not just the color of the eyes of that snake that make it somewhat unique.. it's the overall morphology of the entire head.. just not exactly the same as other imperator, like this Colombian boa.
.

.
Thanks.
