Re: Boa family < Python family...

A fatal flaw in your size/temperment theory...........

BALL PYTHONS.

Notorious as scardy cats. Small adult sizes that take FOREVER to reach.

Re: Boa family < Python family...

Burms, retics and rocks are just a few of the "giants" in the Pythoninae family. Giants among boas would include the Anacondas. Peruvians have the potential of reaching 14 feet and can be quite heavy bodied. Argentines can reach 10 feet and are definitely heavy bodied.

There are several small pythons that are easy to keep and fairly easy going. Granted they come with a higher price tag, but they are out there

EEEEEE!!!!!!!!!! No way! Sure they are very pretty. But they have a creepy 'I am smarter than you and I am always watching you' look about them. You gotta admit they look like they have an 'intelligence' to them that others do not have!
