Re: those who have bred boas...
Plug? I'm guessing you mean the "waxy stool"? Usually within a few days of that. When did she do her Post ovulation shed (pos)? I'll tell ya within a day or two of her dropping. It'll most likely happen on a rainy night.

Re: those who have bred boas...
It can take up to 4 days after the stool "plug" goes. If you had an estimate of when she shed, that would be easier. She'll slim down and look normal sized the last week or two before she pops.

Re: those who have bred boas...
My girl's due date was this past Friday on the 11th.... um.... she looks like she could pop any time now.... its even raining today but I'm unsure if she's passed a waxy stool... actually I think she did. I spotcleaned a poop on Saturday the 12th when she was moving around and appeared to be moving her babies down to the lower 1/3rd of her body... i think it was waxy looking. I really didn't think much of it.
....at this rate, I'm not gonna get much sleep until she has her babies.. lol

Re: those who have bred boas...
When Tod's female dropped her waxy stool, she dropped two days afterwards. Plus there was a nice low pressure going on (raining) and she dropped 34 babies that day.
We're expecting another low pressure today with t-storms..I have a female ready to pop VERY Soon. She's been drinking a lot and has been "nesting". If your female starts to pace her cage, and is also stretching out, your looking to see babies with in a week or two. But with the waxy stool..I'd say up to 7 days. Good luck!

Re: those who have bred boas...
I had baby Boas once and they were born three days after the waxy stool. So I would say that for me three days is a good "average". Originally called the "Waxy Turd" is my understanding, but the editor of Reptiles thought it didn't sound professional enough. He was right too. Yes, my litter was also born on a rainy night 105 days after the... what do they call that... oh the "Post Ovulation Shed".
Here is one of the babies I was fortunate to have born:
He was born in 2000. I hope I have another litter soon!
