Re: Help, What' s that ?!

I would say it has had a shed resulting from some kind of chemical that it has come in contact with it and has caused the color change in this boa. I have had this happen to a few of my boas in 1997. It took about 4 to 6 sheds for my boas to get the colors back. My boas look just like anerythristic boas they where black and white no other color to them, and if I was not a trustworthy person I could have sold them for a lot of money then. If you are worried about this boa having a disease I wouldn't buy this one and look it to finding a different one you like.

Take care
Tom.

Re: Help, What' s that ?!

I too have seen this type of look. It most likely bact. infection, or exposure to a chemical. I have heard some horror stories of what people think is ok to put on a animal or clean the cage with. I may shed out like tom says, but it may be scarred for a long time. If it is an infection it need to be treated. Lastly what ever happened to it may shorten it's live span. If you decide to buy it , don't pay more thinking it is unusual, pay less because of it's condition.
