Baltimore Ban Snakes over 5 feet....
Does anyone know what came of this? Did that law get passed? I've not heard anything about it since back in Feb when they first said something about it.

Re: Baltimore Ban Snakes over 5 feet....
im sorry but if i lived i baltimore i wouldn't get rid of my snakes. Just don't tell anyone. No swat teams are gonna come investigate your house. They don't have any secret cameras. In maine, they only snakes you can have are bball pythons and small colibirds. The only kind of turtle/tortiuse you can have is a red ear slider. I just wouldn't follow the snake law.

Re: Baltimore Ban Snakes over 5 feet....
A lot of people would agree with you, and would have no problem keeping their snakes out of the public eye. However, if a noisy neighbor or the like finds out you could be heavily fined, and they will confiscate your animals. If you are a breeder, this could mean many other problems as well. I'm not sure what law this is you guys are referring to, but I would recommend fighting it if you are residents, and educating yourselves and eachother to help prevent bogus legislation like this from entering the law books!

Re: Baltimore Ban Snakes over 5 feet....
Yeah I know. I hope they don't pass it here in Bmore, then think about making it a whole state law.
I'd like to find out more info on this since I'd like to know if I'll be having to pretend that I don't have a growing boa and what not.
