My First Columbian Red-Tail Boa
Made a new thread here:
I remember when I bought my first snake, a cornsnake. My parents don't like snakes. They also had Ball pythons, but I thought they were are too big. Then after looking at pics on these forums I've alwaysssssss wanted my corn to be full grown and heavy. After months, I didn't really notice much growth lol.
Last week when I saw the Columbian Boa Constrictor I thought, "Man those are like Ball pythons". I went home and found out they get up to 11 feet or so on females. o.o I was like, I definately won't get one. Did more research, males grow up to 7-8 feet or so. Decided thats fine I guess. More research and pics= more interest...Woke up today, spoke to my girlfriend and said, "IM GONNA BUY IT".
Heressssss my BCI. I haven't named it yet. The pics are limited and aren't that great because of the bad lighting and because I dont have my good camera with me.
I think he might be shedding too.

Thnks guys...From the sides, it seems like he might start shedding soon. Does it look like it or are the sides usually that hazy?
Relative to my cornsnake, the BCI looks like its shedding because the colors don't look at vivid especially from the sides.

Nice lookin snake. As far as looking like it is about to shed Can't tell. The eyes are clear so unless they have just cleared in the past day or so I would say no.
BTW welcome to RTB.
