Suri Care?
Ok guys I finally found a nice Suri. I know that the BCCs are a little different than the BCI. What are there tanks supposed to be set at. Heat? Humidity? Do they like alot of hides? Hows there temperment different from BCI? Im probably going to be getting her in a couple weeks if everything goes smoothly. Also how long do I have to quarantine her for? And if I put her in another room can she be in there with lizards? Thanks guys...Just trying to get everything ready for her..

first of all is it a baby?
hot spot-90
ambient-80
room temp-75
that what mine is
humidity depends on the substrate you use..50-60% is good
hides will depend on the size of the boa vs. the size of the tank..larger tank-more hides..usually one on each side..quarantine a min of 6 months..grow her up slowly..dont overfeed
My Suri is sweet..but like any snake they all have different temperments..let her settle in for a week..after she eats, handle her a little each day.
good luck

also dont hold it too early after feeding as the are prone to regurge. i think you are supposed to wait 3 days or so after feeding but that could be a little off
