He's so pretty Connie. And wowweee, how strong and ferocious he must be to kill a dead rat like that. LOL. I love it too. Wil went almost a year without killing anything, just opened up and said Ahhhh, then one day he surprised me with a strike and coil. Now he hisses at it as he coils. If they only knew how adorable they really are.

haha my bp doesnt even"kill his dead rats" the first time i fed him a rat it was live just to get his attention...the rat was very scared and dale just watched it for about ten minutes and then slowly bit it in the face and literaly clamped down on it and tried to eat it alive until he reallized it wasnt dead...ever since then all of his rats are f/t

ALL my snakes "Kill" there prey, a nice hard strike and the then kill...but after its "dead" most of them drop it and cuddle for a bit before calmly opening up and swollowing =)
