My first snake

on a columbian comman boa. Going to viper and vine next week to buy a baby and Im going to buy a large corn snake set up which should house the baby boa for a while until I have to buy a viv.

The website for the set up is http://www.britnett-carver.co.uk/snakes4u/prods/74.html

How long will that be sufficient to house the snake before I have to make a viv?

Also, do you recommend a male or female?

Also I am new to redtailboa.net so hello everyone! Im 19, from Manchester, UK

Welcome
the medium exo Tera Faunafium (flat) is only 36x21x16 cm... thats 14"x 8"x6"
honestly i think that WAY to small.
you need enough space to be able to create a temperature gradient, and have enopugh room for 2 hides and a water dish... that cage is basically a temporary transport size.
i'd upgrade as soon as you have the money to do so, at least to a 2'x1'x1' aquarium... (30x60x30 cm)

As for the rest of the post... females get larger than males... thats the biggest difference.

Again welcome aboard Remember to post pics as soon as u get ut new snake
