Switched to Aspen Bedding
i took all ya'll advice and switched over to aspen beding, he seems to like it soon as i put him in there he stared burring all in it, i put lil more than yall said,i put like 2in deep in it he just seams to really like it i got pix to.

you can use old butter bowl or even cardboard boxes. just make sure the hide isn't to big. they like to feel secure. make it so his sides touch each end of the box when curled up.

anything will do. it is very important that they can hide when they want to. that may be why he started burrowing right away.

check out the pics i have of my cages in the housing section of the forum. the basket was only 1$, i sut a hole in the bottom. the moss one was also home made. i also made another out of a cheap 1$ ceramic pot... just tapped a hole in the bottom and the side

for now just use an empty tissue box or something... they are all ready to go just flip it upside down
if it cant hide it cant relax... and will get sick... imagine if you couldnt turn the lights off in your bedroom, had a sidewalk running through the middle, and no blankets to hide under
