color change pix

This is my 0.1 het albino (25% suri) that I purchased in May. Note in the first few pix the dark coloration in the background color (which didn't change much day to day)







now check the pix out from just earlier tonight....Note the much lighter peachy type of background...I first noticed this change about a week ago.







She has only shed for me twice in that amount of time. Even with the #$%^&#$%^&#$%^&#$%^& poor lighting and photography it is a pretty dramatic change for only owning her for three months or so. Also take note of the size difference...I think she is going to grow up to be a real stunner.

	Heterozygous Heterozygous - the animal carries the gene for a genetic trait but does not outwardly demonstrate the trait. Example: A boa that is het for albino looks normal but carries the albino gene. When it is bred to another het for albino boa or an albino boa, a percentage of the offspring will be albino.

	Suriname Redtail Boa Red Tail Boa Constrictor (Boa constrictor constrictor) from the locale of Suriname. Considered to be a "True" Red Tail.
