BCI and enclosure size questions
I have a 24" BCI. When would it be okay to put it in its full size enclosure. I have it a 20 breeder now, but and building its 4'x2'x2', and it will be done soon. What size should the snake be before I put it in its new home, or can I just have a lot of hides and it be okay now. TIA

I kept my 2 Boas in seperate 4 ft Boaphile cages when they were even smaller than that I just had multiple hides and 2 water sources in each cage..As long as you do that too I don't see any problem with putting him in it when it's ready.

thanks. Thats what I thought, but just wanted to make sure. I already have a lot of snakes, but this is my first "large" non-arboreal. Thanks for the info.

Just make sure there's plenty of cover for hiding. They're born in the great outdoors in nature. No enclosure at all. Wide open spaces, except of course, for leaf litter, burrows, nooks, crannies etc. Make sure to provide security opportunities and it'll be fine.
