How can you NOT find a 6 foot snake?!?!
So last night I had Sahira - who is six feet and still growing like weed and has been shedding every month for the past 3 months - roaming around my bedroom for several hours while I studied and did some work on the computer. I have a large bedroom with very few furniture in it, so there was noplace for her to really hide except in or under my bed and maybe someplace in my closet or under my computer desk.
Well as I wrapped things up for the night I went about my room looking for her. I first looked in and under the bed, but I didn't find her there. So I looked in the closet, and after feeling through my hunting gear and other clothes that were hanging up, I didn't find her in there either. At this point I was getting a little worried, and even looked in the two bottom drawers of my desk, and even took out the file cabinet drawer incase she had somehow crammed herself underneath it, which one of my ball pythons have done before. There was no way she could have gone under the bedroom door and out of the room.. there was just no space at all. I looked at the carpet carefully for "tracks" but didn't see anything.
So finally, after looking behind my computer tower, there was the small drawer above the computer tower. So I was like, "right, I doubt she's in here..." It amazed me a snake as big as she was could disappear like that...
..........and to my surprise.....
...what the?!

weeell hello there! LOL
.
.
The back of the desk is open, so she somehow squeezed in behind there and climbed up into the back of the drawer quietly without me knowing... There's about a 3 inch gap between the back of the drawer and the desk, so she was easily able to get in...lol I love this girl so much.

The drawer was completely closed when I found her and so was the door for the computer tower compartment... For a second when I started pulling the drawer out I thought it was extra heavy... lol then I saw her.
There's just enough space behind the desk that she managed to squeeze behind and get in... the back of the desk is open.. so she was able to get in, and climb up and into the back of the drawer.. lol
It was nice and warm up where she was too because of the computer's heat.
