Tiny milestone
Just have to share. Last night my little baby Hog Island shed for the first time with me and it was just absolutely perfect, not a single tear or anything.
I wasn't even sure he was blue. Eyes were the tiniest bit cloudy for a day, a couple days ago, but then cleared up and he's light enough that he didn't really show the cloudiness in his body.
Very happy he shed so wonderfully well, taking it as a sign I'm doing ok by his husbandry.
He still only eats for me every other time, though. This time he was shedding so I guess that's an excuse, but it's been pretty regular; Every other feeding, he will eat, when fed the same exact way weekly.
Thinking of trying to bump him up to 10days. Thoughts?
Sorry no pictures, it was late.

PICS!!!! They are so beautiful right after shed, so, please, please, share!
Regarding picky eating: Don't have any such experience as boas not wanting to eat (just the contrary). The only thing I do know insofar is, that my ball pythons both went through that phase. As soon as I switched over from Hoppers to rat pinkies the problem was solved. They obviously simply didn't like the taste of mice.

Alright, lots of pics!
Last two are of his cage as it currently sits.
Just measured, too, he is 21" long! (just slightly over that, actually)
He's three months and eleven days old, today. :)

Better be careful, you don't want him to be a future AA member...

Rofl you comment on the toiletpaper tube on a stick but not the severed electrical cords tied to sticks? Just giving interesting things for exploring. He actually likes toiletpaper/papertowel tobes more than I'd expected.
I got him from a guy on FC by the username JCCS. Really great guy, and all the babies were just gorgeous.
And yes, I am monitoring that, don't worry. He's already gone through one half of a case-box this month alone. lol
