Blast From the Past Colombian boa photo..
.. the photo is only a few years old but the animal is what most ordinary common Colombian boas looked like 'back in the day'. This was before all the new names like 'circle-back' and 'ladder-tail' came into vogue and all the intergrade boas were put into the market as Colombians.
.
That particular snake in the thumb below is an F3 of my original late 70s imports, picked because he looked just like they did.

So THAT's what a Colombian BCI is suppose to look like. In the world of mutts (even if they are beatiful mutts) it's nice to catch a glimpse of a purer specimen. |
