Have you learned about them first? You should learn all you can about the care for them before you buy one. If you already have than thats great. Check ks or fauna for boas for sale or a breeder near you. Im sure there is one in your area on this site. Hope you find a nice one. Later Thomas

What is your budget? That has alot to do with your decision. Do you know about any different locales? There are several types of red-tails and most of them vary dramaticaly in price. If you're looking for just a plain ol' common redtail boa, then you can find great prices on Colombians. If you're looking into a pure rtb, like a Suriname or Peruvian (to name a few), the prices tend to jump tremendously. Give us a little more detail in what you're looking for and we can steer you in the right direction!

well i was thinking about getting a colombian and dont worry ive been researching on lots of reptile forums and caresheets.... i think i might know of a breeder that supposed to be pretty good....has a website and a store and have seen them at a reptile expo and he breeds boas.........im not sure what his website is lizardkingreptiles or something.....i live in nebraska so theres not alot of breeders but its a 2hour drive to get there because i have the address of his shop and everything.........thanks i have a couple thousand but im not sure if i want a morph or suriname since its my first bigger snake and colombians seem really nice and i love their color.....and i want extra money for food and caging and heating and all that stuff.......for a baby i have a 3ft length*20in depth*and 13inches high that i might use for the baby rtb i havent set it up with the heatpad and thermostat/possibly lighting but my room temp is 81-84 because i cant stand being cold lol so would that be ok? and the setup so far has a digital/hydrometer/thermometer 2 hides i got the humidity to 55% waterdish..2 branches and a rock and might add some plastic plants and stuff lol.........and an etra feeding tub f/t of course..........thanks
