albino, het (albino), and cage
I had boas, pythons, and others as a kid. I had to get rid of them for work. I can now keep snakes again. Albino is a male and the het is a female. I'd like to add a hypo when I can talk my wife into it. The cage is tile board, white peg board, and a 1x2 frame. It has plexi glass doors and a plexi glass divider. Underneath it has to wire mesh pocket on both sides for heating pads. The top has a small storage area for tongs and such. Also in the top are two hidden doors for easy access for feeding and such.

Are the locks your idea or the wifes?!! Hehe, just kidding. Very nice setup as well. Do you plan on keeping the boas together for long?? I think it is easier to keep good records if they are seperated... just my thought.

it appears there is a plexi divider in between them
nice looking cage (and snakes!)
Do you think the pegboard will hold enough heat/humidity in?

very nice, I like the cage too... interesting idea. This reminds me to aquire some locks for my cage, I have been having a little trouble with people and my snakes, so unfortunately, I have to go to locks...

locks - wifes idea. We have three kids, who want to hold the snakes all the time. They know not to go in there without supervision, but the locks ensure they don't get to curious.
yeah there is a plexi glass divider. Eventually the cage will only house one, but this was the best way to start small and not waste money. I'll build another someday. The peg board is only open in the back, so hopefully it will hold the humidity. I am going to walmart this weekend to get some accurite therm/hydo meters. The humidity here is usually very high, so I shouldn't have any issues.

Don't feel bad, you’re not the first person here to jump to the wrong conclusion. People are so fast to point out what everyone is doing wrong, why is that??

Great snakes. I know how it is with three young'uns who want to hold them all the time.

I think it is just the fact that there are a lot of people who don't know what is right and wrong. I was clueless even though I kept snakes for years and years before now and didn't know I did it all wrong until I came on here to do it again.
