Mexico boa photo.
.. I snapped this image just now to send to someone who wanted to see the adult size of one of my Tarahumara, Mexico boas.. He's 3 years old this week.
.

.
.. technically, this is THE most northern race of Boa constrictor.

Am I right in thinking that it seems the further down south, the lager they grow or does it just seem that way due to my ignorance?
He's got amazing peacy colors on him in contrast to his dark saddles. Makes my babies look boring. Sniff.

That's an amazing snake! I love the dark tone with the peachish colors on the sides. Thanks for sharing!

He's gorgeous.
HMM... makes my somewhat wonder if mt little odd ball may be a mexico cross. The head seems similar and she has orangish/peachy colors. She's also very small and slim for her age.

Obviously the saddles and lack of pigment are off.

I don't see any Mexico boa heritage in tha boa at all.
.
Here's another of this year's Mexico boa babies. (thumb below). This one is a generic 'Sonora' boa.. Identifying the locality of origin of boas from just a photo or two is practically impossible because of all the interbreeding and crossbreeding that goes on.
