Too funny
Well my husband woke me up at 5:00 yesterday morning yelling that he needed my help immediately. So I go running down stairs in a panic to see that the door to my big boas cage had been pushed out and bruce was not in his cage. the first thing we did was checked to make sure both my cats and dogs were ok. Then we went to work searching all three floors of my house. I was going crazy looking when all of a sudden my husband started laughing his but off. There was my bruce laying across the windowsill of my big picture window looking at us like we were crazy. I couldn't help but laugh too even though he had scared me half to death.

yeah when i got all done with Chase's cage she spent all night pushing on the plexi glass in all the corners to try to push her head through....well after a couple of nights she actually did it. I woke up normally and realized she had gotten out. she cracked the plexi and went right through. Shes large so theres not to many places she could have been .....ended up peeking out at me and watching me look for her from under my couch. Kinda the same look like i was crazy. I had to laugh too. Since then i had to replace to thicker plexi and now she cant escape. She still tries all the corners at night though...thinkin " i did it once..i can do it again"
Glad to hear you found him just fine though.

Oh tracy I'm sorry. I didn't mean to scare you. I unfortunately have had a couple of my snakes get lose and have always found them. I even found my okeetee corn when he was a baby. Don't worry too much about losing them. Just always be certain that their cages are secure. What happened with bruces cage is that I recently changed the plexi on his sliding doors. With the heat and humidity we have been having lately made to glue tape on the handles that work as supports get lose. When he climbed up the front they fell off and the door buckled out.

He knows he's a brat. But I think he also knows I was happy to find him because when I went to pick him up he just came right to me. LOL.

Too funny, we caught a Rough Green snake at the river today. I told my husband to put it in the big tote I keep in the back of the Blazer, and he stuck it in a plastic bucket. We all went to the bathroom, and I checked on the snake before we took off, and he was nowhere to be found!! I tore the back of the Blazer apart looking for that snake!! I had Ryan looking again, while I literally searched my truck more thoroughly than the police!
I picked up my purse to move it out of the front seat, along with some random items in the floor board, and the little snot shot straight out of my purse at me!! About gave me a heartattack!!!! Needless to say, he was recaptured and safley placed in the TUB that I initially suggested...
