Baby female hog

Here's a pic of my baby female hog island, got her from Bighill. A month ago she was quite easy and nice to handle. Satan has taken over. I held her for a total of 8 minutes tonight and she struck 30 times, only about 3 of those were at the camera. She will act like a very calm boa, slither, look around, then I see a slow tongue flick and following that are 4-7 quick lunges usually at my face or my hand while I am typing LOL. I don't mind though, keeps me on my toes.

Overall, hog islands are more nervous then colombians, but generally calmer then other insular forms. Babies range from totally tame, to satan. Adults tend to be much calmer then babies, but not all of them calm down, and some babies that are calm can get nasty. It's all in the individual animal...my male has only struck at me once and that was when I first got him and was treating him for mites.
