LOL!!
I miss havin bikes too..Suzu GSXR1100 BMW 1100RT among others..
Only takes ONE time on the back with someone who decides NOT to pull over for the police and you pretty much say.."Im done" LOL
Gorgeous snake, welcome to RTB.
Have you already fed frozen yet? F/T is better than the prekilled, prekilled is better than live for injury reasons..That being said there is still a possibility the prey could carry parasites and infect the snake. (worms, ew)
The best, safest, and most reliable way is F/T.
As far as suggestions..What size tank is that? Your boa may need something bigger in the future..But Im sure you are aware of that!
Just enjoy him/her oh, and post lots of pics, I hear they make your snake grow faster!

thanx!
the tank is a 75gal which is 48" x 24" x 24", i plan on building my own next year, prob a 96 x 30 x 24.
i have never fed him frozen, the local store where i get my mice and rats are bred there for feeding, do you think there is still a concern for parasites?
thanx for the tips, keep em coming!

Not sure but you aren't feeding live are you? I would freeze them for a few weeks just to be safe. Theres almost no difference between f/t and f/k

i did untill i saw what could happen, so thats why i am gonna start feeding pre killed, the prob with getting frozen is i dont need 50 fuzzies bec he will stop eating those and need somethin bigger b4 i am done with them, so i figure i will feed him pre killed untill he is big enough that he can eat the same size food for a long enough time to make it worthwhile to buy frozen in bulk.
i could kill them and then freez them myself to get rid of parasites, but i dont know how necessary that is if i am getting the mice from a place that breeds them specificlly for food, i cant imagine that they dont make sure there arent any parasites present.
please enlighten me!
