Hi, thanks. The combination of markings, colors and that orange head is attractive and completely unexpected. This is a common boa or Boa constrictor imperator from Mexico, about 200 miles (straightline) southwest from the southern tip of Texas.

The coloring is perfect for that leaf pile, from a distance, you may not even see her/him!
