It looks like connected tail splotches. It could be a stripe, but either way, it doesn't look genetic at all. Very nice though.

I'd say the one part of the tail is striped, but the last few spots on the end of the tail are just connected blotches.

I would conceder him a normal BCI with a small stripe. It is a very small stripe but it is a stripe. People are always trying to name there boa something new just so they can add a big price tag to it. I have seen some BCA( Bolivians ) named " Dot Dash Boas " You wont know if it is genetic until you breed him and then breed the babies back to each other to see if the stripe is genetic. If he is a jungle boa then you will get striped boas from the first breeding try. However from what I can see I would say he is not a jungle boa. Here are some pictures of the boas I have and a few I no longer own that are just striped boas.

These only have small stripes in there tails and are not genetic they are just normal BCI.

These are genetic striped boas.

Take care
Tom

If Id have put my snake anywhere near a tree, Id have to be climbing up after it!
Great pics Tom! Love those tails..Very pretty snakes!

Im gonna say splotches, I dont believe from the pics Ive seen its a genetic stripe. but like Tom said, the only way you will know if its genetic is to breed and then breed back..

Its a beautiful snake and sure to have beautiful babies with or without stripes.
