I just got a new camera, our old one was a noname brand, and our new one is a Kodac Easyshare, I can't remember which camera we used, but I think it was the old one...lower megapixal..
I am not sure if I would recomend them as a first snake, they have positive atributes and negative ones.....The positive they stay small....they are a Dwarf Boa...which is really cool, BUT ALL the ones I have seen have had little attitudes, I have heard that there are mellow and nice ones out there, but from my expeirence the ones I have delt with love to Hiss and tell you all about how mad they are that your messin with them, which can be intimidating for someone who is new to boas. or snakes for that matter. I guess if you bought a baby and held it often it would be mellow, but don't be surprised if they hiss or stike out at you at some point...I personally like it, it give them character...but I also work with Sonorans and Argentines which do the same thing...Fiesty little suckers...lol
Thanks everyone for all your comments...

I noticed the defensive hissing the other day. They have showed no signs of aggression like ATBs. Their "bark" is much worse than their bite. Approaching them (or any defensive animal) the correct way is very important. After picking them up they show no signs of defensiveness, and are as calm as can be.
I am totally thrilled with them and glad I made the decision to purchase them through Gus.

We have a baby Caulker Cay boa from Rio Bravo. I've never seen a baby boa more mellow than ours.
