No Regurgitation Please!
Ok i finally talked my soooo smart boyfriend into feeding outside the cage cuz i told him one day she might eat him. But now 2 questions, how long after do we move them back to their house and what if we were feeding them 2 rats?

You should feed one appropriately sized prey item per feeding. It causes less stress on the snake. There's never any reason to feed 2 at at time.
What's the reason for feeding outside the tank?

I think Rosa means that the snake(s) are fed in a feed tote, and not their tank (minimizes the likelihood of a possible feeding response when you are just getting them out for some exercise). I might be wrong though.

I still don't understand why they want to do this, though.

I feed all of mine in feeding totes (except my kingsnake because he gets too stressed out when I move him for him to eat, so I leave him in) because I use loose substrate (aspen) and I don’t want them to eat it.

Very purdy snakies.
I feed outside the enclosure too. I do it mainly because I like that time for cleaning out the cages and I don't want the smell of the rat inside the enclosure. Sometimes they can be pretty messy when eating.
