Pastel is not a genetic mutation like most. It is created from selective breeding. Thus, there is no such thing as a het for pastel.

I don't get the pastel lark at all as i was always told yeah it's cod-om with lines such as EBV, Ronne and Kubsch but i see them for sale at some places for £400each and i got a pair from kubsch lines for £190 so i don't really know where the huge price difference comes in but i#m not fussed tbh as i have a pair and they're stunning so any babies from them will be hotties!

Pastel is not a clearly defined morph anyway. Or a morph at all, in my opinion. Hypo, Albino, Melanistic, Anery, etc are defined genetic mutations that can be found in many animals. "Pastel" is just naming a pretty line.

Here is Jeff Ronne's explanation of what a pastel boa is. I breed them and what it really means is a reduction in the black pigment. With red saddles and pink to orange background coloration. Here is one of the babies I have right now for an example>
