Few pictures of Gumbo
Heres a few pictures of gumbo. Hes my 6.5 foot male BCI. He got an infection about a month ago and had surgery. Hes been doing well but the abscess just wont heel. It keeps getting infected. He just got rid of his mites too. Thank god.

This was the abscess
A week after his surgery. You can see some scars where they had to do baytril injections.
And Gumbo today, right after he ate a big XXL rat.

The vets couldnt figure out how to started. But I'm sure the mites played a roll in it getting worse and not healing. Luckly the mites are cleared up now. I just need to get that abscess in control. I asked the vets if it was early age of cancer and they said it wasnt. I was thinking that it could have been the wire screen cages I had around the light bulbs in his old cage. He would always sit on top of the wire cages, maybe he poked himself and it cause in infection. It could of easily been that. |
