Hi all, been to this site alot, but only as a guest, today i felt it was time to go all the way and register
This is one of the best sites around with GOOD information, and the users seem to know what they are talking about..
So here is my redtail, and cage.. The cage and boa was bought from a norweigian, so i cant take credit for building it
Just modded the cage today, because the "bathroom" was in the middle of the closure, and no heatsource was there to heat up the water.. That resulted in 20-22deg. Celcius water... Way to cool for digestion (my boa spends about 50% of the time in the bathtub..
The enclosure has a hot zone and a cool zone, 28-29deg Celcius in the hot, and 22-24 in the cool zone (dual digital thermometer)
The enclosure is about 8feet long, 1,5 feet deep, and 1,5feet high

The boa is over two years and only 3 feet long, due to cool water i think, really slow digestion and therefor slow growth..
