Potty trained boa!?!
Ok well im not positive if infact its potty trained or not but i do no i know when my boa will poop..
It is actually based on time every 2 feedings i wait the normal 2 days to not handle them give him a bath and well this is when he does his business and i am 3/3 now!
Anyway on to another subject i have just replaced his normal news paper with aspen should this help my humidity? I mist every day but newspaper doesnt hold all to much..Do snakes actually enjoy bedding?

In my little experience the warm water usually helps reptiles to poop. Almost everytime I put my beardies in the bathtub with warm water they deficate.
Moss holds humidity very well if your trying to get it up there, but as long as your spraying the cage down often the humidity should stay up there no matter what substrate you have. I'm about to add a tuperwair container filled with moss to my cage as we speak...
As for if they enjoy bedding- I doubt it... most people just go for looks and almost every care sheet and experienced owner says news paper is the best its just it doesn't look very nice so not many people use it.

My ball python is potty trained. She has been using the bathroom in her humidity box every single solitary time now for about 6 months. At first I thought it was just coincidence, but nope, it's like her litter box so to speak. I guess they just get attatched to certian areas sometimes.
