Regurge?
My snake regurged his meal it had a tail still and everything...what could the problem be it was like 3 days after i fed him? I also had just fed him and removed the old newspaper so things were moved around could that caused the regurge? from stress?

Ugh, erased my post. It is a baby boa right? How is your tank set up, temperature cool and hot, humidity, how are you measuring it, what was the food size, last meal, etc?

Did you handle him 1 or 2 days after the meal? The snake may just be stressed or maybe the heat of 90 isn't enough. I have a 100 degree spot that my boa goes to for about 2 days after a meal. I had problems with mice compared to rats. My mice smelled bad when they accidently had their stomachs pop out while I thawed them so IMO, I would just stick with rats since the snake will have to be on them eventually. This may even help with the regurge problem. I would wait about 10-14 days after the regurge to do another feed.
Good Luck
Jake

What kind of boa do you have? Some subspecies are more susceptable to regurg than others... or so I'm told.

have you taken him to a vet? he could have parasites. that causes regurg. take his poop with you to the vet so it can be checked.

hey man sorry for sounding like a broken record, BUT the baby was born May 7, 2005. IMO adult mice are too big of a food item for him still. Wait 2 weeks, then feed a large pinkie or small fuzzie. That should fix him up right.
