creases?
Is it common for boas to develop creases in their scales from where they most often curl up? By creases, I mean lines of slightly bent scales, not loose skin. If so, is there anything you can do about them, or are they okay?
Dante had a couple in the areas he's most likely to be curled. I think the other snakes I've worked with have had them, but I'm not entirely sure. Any input would be appreciated!

There was a thread on this not too long ago. General consensus seemed to be that it is normal.

Well if you run across it, I'd love a link; I'm having a bit of trouble finding it myself That goes for everyone, if anyone knows something.
I'll keep looking.
EDIT: Okay, I found this: http://redtailboa.net/forums/t18218-...es-on-rtb.html
That satisfies me.
Thanks again, WW, for letting me know.

Some have said that it may be caused by a lack of proper humidity but I disagree. My boas all have perfect humidity in their enclosures. They have a good night time drop as well, so they aren't just stagnant all the time. 3 out of five of my boas have creases to some degree. Why 2 of them don't baffels me, but I'm certain that it's fairly normal for the ones that do.

Thanks to all of you!
I was pretty sure it wasn't anything to be worried about, but just thought I'd check.
I agree that it's not a humidity issue, since I know my humidity is where it should be, too.

All of my Boa's and Python's have slight crease's, but none of my Anaconda's do most likley because they tend to stay in the water more than on a hard surface coiled up...
