Pastel?

I was wondering if this BCI could be called a pastel? He seems to be getting lighter as he gets older.

I believe that a "Pastel" is defined as having greatly reduced side patterns of which that one does not.

i thought it was lack of black pigment in the little designs on the sides...

That would be "reduced side patterns"

I wasnt sure. I saw a pic of a bci being sold as a pastel and it looked alot like mine. So you would say this one has reduced side patterns.

ok, thanks for the clarification. When I do sell him I want to make sure that I sell him for what he is.
