"Brasher Bloodred Hypo"???
Does anyone knows if "Brasher Reptiles" has a website? I did a search on Google with no luck...
I saw this and my jaw dropped:
http://www.cuttingedgeherp.com/boamo...rphs&UID=10019
I would love to see more pictures of this snake... and be convinced this is not a photoshop trick!!!
Suspense... I'm holding my breath...

That is probably a very nice snake, but yes, the Blue background is often used so the red/yellow and green can be punched up without showing up in background items that can give reference. But it could be just a quality issue. Poor-quality images or image-copying can result in the way it appears in the image. Not realistic.
You need to have recogniseable items in the frame, rocks, leaves, grass, etc.. to be able to judge color, tone and overall contrast... otherwise even if it is not intended the results can be deceptive.
Gus.

Here is his website.
His camera may suck, but those animals aren't far from the color of the Bloody Salmons by Rich Ihle either:
Hard to say.

quite a few people over on KS have mentioned his overly red pics before. I'd want to see some in person before I form an opinion, they could be very nice. When he says "bloodred hypo" does he mean they are bloody hypos (blood and hypo showing?). I wasn't clear on that because I thought Rich produced them first?

It looks to me like he's done some half hearted color balance adjustment in PS to make the snakes look more red.
Here are two versions of the same picture. The second one is right from his site, the first is one that I adjusted in PS to have what I believe to be much more accurate colors.

YEP!!!! That's it!!!! Which makes this snake quite similar to the other one posted here, by the Salmon boa breeder.
It is still very pretty though, but not *that* true deep red.
