Boa seems ok...but don't STRIKE/.?

my RTB eats fuzzy f/t. usually, after i dethaw them i wiggle em around with a hemostat and slide it closer to is face and he strikes.....but this time, i did that, no strike and i pulled my hemostat out and the boa just went upto its head and opened and is now swallowing...y is this?

Floppy wont eat unless you jiggle and wiggle and make the rat break dance round his viv!, If I just place it in there he'll go sniff at it then leave it!

Some will strike, some won't. My boa has never had live prey but he still hits hard every time, others will do like yours. As long as he eats I'd say you don't have a problem
