I always thought my Angel was a female
Male or female, I saw a bigger boa at the pet store I work at but it spurs were much smaller then this pic of my boas spur.

That pics a little dark.
If its any help I was once told not to rely on spurs for sexing cause you could have a male that has worn down his spurs so they appear smaller like a female or visa versa. The best way to determine sex is to let a vet or other experienced person probe him/her for you! Atleast then you know! its by far the best way.

very hard to tell, but I would say it could be a male. The way the tip of the spur curves to a sharp point. Also, are you pulling the skin back at all to expose the spur? If not, I would lean even more towards male. My female's spurs on my large adults are hardly visable. Do you have a herp society/club nearby or maybe you can ask a pet store employee, sometimes they will give you their opinion too.

I would get a probing kit that would be your best bet.

Probing should only be done by an experienced person. If you don't know what you're doing you can bring harm to your pet/potential breeder. You can pierce things and rake down on sensitive tissue.

Please Jesus,
If you have never probed before learn from someone before doing it.

Of course I'll take angel to her/his vet to learn how to do it or for him to do it.

Good deal.
Just make sure it's a qualified herp vet.

I agree with Reptscue, you really need to be taught how to do that, not just see it done... You can mess up big time. if your vet isn't real experienced with herps you'd be better off getting an experienced breeder to teach you. Those are the real experts in my opinion.
