Re: Answers to common boa questions
My bad, didn't realize it was a "sticky" thread. Kinda pointless to have a sticky thread filled with dead links. Someone should make a new one.

They have moss in the pet stores that can help with humidity. Or you can use a humidifier that's meant for reptiles. There's many choices. Try bigappleherp.com. They have lots of cool gadgets that you may see as helpful. But all you're really wanting to do is get more humidity in there. Just don't go crazy on it. Too little is just as bad as too much. Good luck.

Re: Answers to common boa questions
ok this may be a stupid question but Im fairly new to keeping boas. Is it possible/ common for a female to have spurs? i purchased a 2 and a half year old albino and the guy told me he bought it sexed female, only i have a 4 year old het leopard and the comparison between the tail length is fairly drastic and she has no apparent spurs, whereas my male dh super salmon has a tail and spur size that are roughly the same as my albino, any input?

Both male and female boa constrictors possess spurs, but the spurs on male boas are typically larger, and more curved.
