I have a young BCI and I think it is going to shed soon. Which is where my question comes into play. Will boas get loose skin when they are about to shed? He feeds on one small mouse a week. Should I start to give him two or try switching him to a larger rat? I just wanna know if its from under feeding or shedding.

You'll notice his eyes turning cloudy and then getting clear again several days before the shed. Usually you'll be able to notice the skin color getting less bright or clear. The skin shouldn't be loose. bump him up to rats. for guidelines to size and where to order em from just check out any of pathfinders posts.
