nose rubbing

i watched my rtb for about 20 minutes and she was moving alot more than she usually does going places she never goes and his constantly rubbing her nose on the sides of the tank and goes under water and rubs her nose on the bottom.
does this have something to do with shed ?

sorry if its a stupid question

possibly but probably not is she showing any signs of shed milky underbelly and a darker appearence there the earliest signs, i found with my female bci the only time she's very active and sometimes nose rubs is when she's hungry and looking for a meal, how old is she whats your feeding shedule, i would'nt worry i usually let my bci cruise around actively searching for a meal for 2-3 days before i feed again there not the most active snakes and the exercise does them good.

hmm. her eyes dont seem to be blurry. Have u looked at her eyes in the past few days. I know with my boa her eyes barely turn bluish when shes about to shed. They turn just a little bit foggyish. How long have you had her, and when was the last time she shed.

no there more likely to get an ri with temps that are to low yours look about right anyway. if temps are too low it reduces the strength of their immune system. if he is sheding have u got a few rough surfaces in the viv to help him. i've never seen any of my snakes rub the glass whilst in shed i don't think it would help them much its too smooth. mine either use there own body to rub against or there hides. and if he was going to shed they usually just hide for the duration. if your snake does start to shed he will probably hide away and you'll see his eyes turn dull. once he reaches this stage i'd recommend you spray him daily i usually do just to guarantee a full shed.

You need a cooler temps on your cool side 80-82. As for the hot side 86-88 but if can go either way up or down one degree. what is your tank set up like?
