UTH cracking glass AHH!!!

Any ideas for my uth to stop cracking the bottom of my cage? I have it turned off right now, but any suggestions? ( Dont worry, I have a heat lamp

Throw it out. If an under tank heater is cracking glass, it is getting WAYYYYY too hot! It may have a short in it.

well A good question to ask about the UTH is, "Is there enough airspace underneith it. If not that heat is getting trapped and causeing it to crack. If that is not the case then yea trash it, It would have to either be a short or one not made for the process in which you purchased it
